A NEW GENRE: SEEING THE EVERY DAY

I say new genre, because even though it's a magazine, it doesn't seem like one. My co-worker gave me a free copy from the Public Services department at BYU. I haven't even read any of it, but I already love it. Maybe just because I love Bradley Slade's photography in it. It seems like it would be the "comfort food" of magazines... see what you can see at SeeingTheEveryDay.com.

GOOSEBUMPS

It's not because something's breath-taking. It's not because of a spiritual musical number. It's not because of a freaky story. It's because of the cold!

"But it's summer," you say. I know! I don't know why, but I think I've had more goosebumps than ever before since I returned home from the tropical island. I don't understand why my body hasn't really adjusted. I'm at the Law School right now; where I sometimes spend most of my day - and I STILL am cold all the time. This "condition" better heal itself by Fall/Winter.

YOU SAY "TUM-AY-TOE" I SAY "TO-MAH-TO"

I decided Ben is a picky eater. He says he's a refined eater.

Compromising consensus: He's a food snob.

But I sure love that food snob & I'm leaving Provo today with his wonderful refined-eating family.
