This post has remained a 'draft' since the beginning of November!
After grocery shopping one day, Ben gasped at the 'low' gas price and asked that I pull over so that I could take a picture of him with the amazing price to show his Kurt & Becky. It was an amazing price. Then.
I filled up today for $1.67 a gallon... and contemplated this summer when it got into the $4 range. (Right?) Hard to believe now.
It's all relative. Even if we don't understand.

IT WAS AMAZING THEN. IT'S AMAZING NOW
Relative is right! I can't believe gas is that cheap now!
We must be related--I always gasp at gas prices, too, It just about gives Ryan a heart attack.
Roland loves gas prices too. He uses all those websites that find the cheapest place to fill up and is constantly looking at signs and comparing all the stations on a given street. I'm so glad they're much better now.
$1.67! That is awesome! Still close to $2.20 in Cali. But hey, lots better then the $4.60 that we were paying.
i thought i was the only weirdo snapping shots of gas prices - thanks for making me feel not so alone ben!
There you go. Once again.
I was just geeking out about gas, then realized that when I started noticing gas prices when I was really young, 1.69 was a horrible price. But I've been driving only two years, and it's been lower the past couple months than it had been since I got licensed.
