WE KIND OF SKIPPED CHRISTMAS

Christmas shopping time falls right in line with the worst weeks of the semester.
So to remove the stress, Ben agreed to nix gift-giving to each other.

Because we basically gifted ourselves everything we ever wanted
while we were on our Thanksgiving jaunt to Seoul...

he wears them as wedding band substitutes

we persuaded each other to buy things we thought the other would like.
(That's the only reason I initially dissuaded the Panda hat... I didn't know he'd like it so much!)

Plus, we got stuff for our home...

So that kind of counts as gift-giving, right?

pink uniqlo hoodie and flexible oliver peoples-inspired frames

Either way, we were satisfied.

*But much thanks to Mom, who more than covered our "Santa gifts" and stockings!
I'm sure going to miss Christmas with my family...

and the rock band sessions that come with it.

--------

This shall be a "perpetual post" and I will update with more photos of our
Korean "gifts" as fast as I can take them/post them. Stay tuned...

this is just like jon! he buys things he wants and so i am always scared he will buy the thing i already got. there have been a couple times i have had to tell him to not buy something cause i already had it for him.
also we are jealous of your korea purchases, it makes us want to go there just for all the fun stuff!

Olivia, you are so cute to comment on my blog. It makes me happy that other people read it. I feel like my mom and Ann are the only people who read it. I am living in Murray, but teaching 4th grade in Sandy. I would love to come to your house. I love you and your family. The Knudsens have always been so nice to me.
p.s. I read your blog all the time I just never comment ;)

Olivia, I loved the advice you gave to K a t y on her blog. I actually do that too but MD and Brendon are my timers: "I need to clean up her toys before she finishes eating" or "get such and such thing done before my love comes home". Glad I'm not the only one.
Miss you.
